Principal's Message

Dr. Andrea Bringard is the principal of Riverside Academy.

 

Bringard was named to the position in June 2018.

 

Before joining Riverside Academy, Bringard served as the Dean of Students at Cheatham Middle School for two years.

 

Bringard earned a bachelor of art degree in accounting from Bellarmine University in 1991 and a masters of art degree in education from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2008. She obtained her doctorate in educational leadership from Carson-Newman University in 2017.

 

She spent the first 12 years of her education career at St. Joseph School in Madison, serving as a Pre-K assistant and teaching third grade and fifth grade. In 2015, she taught third grade at Kingston Springs Elementary School.

 

Bringard completed the district’s Aspiring Administrators program and accepted the position of Dean of Students at CMS in 2016.
